I am a rising senior majoring in Public Health Policy at the University of California, Irvine. I plan to continue onto graduate school to get my Master’s degree in Public Health with the intention of eventually becoming an epidemiologist.   While interning with Assuaged, I hope to gain experience and be a valuable contribution to the team. I believe that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the key to improving one’s wellness, both mentally and physically. There are many health disparities and social determinants that limit access to health care for certain populations and in my future career, I strive to help lessen these disadvantages. Through health promotion, preventative measures, and education I hope to improve the quality of life for others.
