Vegan Jalapeño Cheddar Cheesy Sauce

This rich and creamy vegan cheesy sauce is the perfect kick to so many different possibilities. Vegan jalapeño cheddar cheesy sauce can be used on nachos, quesadillas, casseroles, or drizzled over fresh steamed veggies for some extra flavor. BONUS: Creamy Vegan Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Recipe

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked and drained
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup butternut squash, chopped
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, diced
  • 1/2 tbsp pink himalayan salt
  • 1 1/2 cups veggie stock
  • 1/2 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 raw jalapeño, seeded & diced


Cheesy jalapeño sauce vegan

  1. Heat a pot with oil over medium, then sauté vegetables for 10 minutes.
  2. Add vegetable stock, spices, and salt and bring to a boil. Turn heat to a high simmer for 20-25 minutes until soft.
  3. Allow to cool and transfer to a high-speed processor. Blend until creamy smooth, and add freshly diced jalapeños. Pulse a few times more, if desired.
