This recipe involves only five organic ingredients and does not require an ice cream machine for churning. With only three steps, this recipe is easy and takes little time to whip together.


How To Make Coconut Avocado Ice Cream


This is one of the quickest and easiest vegan ice cream ever, and the best part is that it tastes amazing and requires only a blender to make this awesome treat!


For this recipe, we recommend using full-fat coconut cream because it gives the final result a creamier and richer consistency. The recipe involves only three simple steps, but each should be done thoroughly to get the correct consistency and flavors throughout!


To start, place all ingredients in a blender. We recommend using a Vitamix for an extra creamy result! The ingredients included in this recipe are coconut cream, avocados, maple syrup, lemon or lime juice, and pink Himalayan salt. 


Each ingredient plays a crucial role in getting that perfect batch of ice cream:

  • The coconut cream replaces dairy, adds notes of sweetness, and adds a nice coconut flavor. 
  • The avocados give the ice cream a creamy consistency.
  • The maple syrup also contributes to texture and sweetness.
  • The lemon or lime juice helps prevent the avocado from oxidizing during the blending and freezing processes. 
  • The Himalayan salt will add a depth of flavor and compliments other ingredients.

Next, you pour the mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan and cover it. Freeze overnight ideally, or for at least four hours.
