What Is Purple Cauliflower Stuffing Made Of?

 

Our Purple Cauliflower Stuffing contains:

 

  • Purple cauliflower
  • Coarse pink salt and ground black pepper
  • Fresh herbs and spices
  • Vegetable stock
  • Carrot, celery, and onions
  • Crimini mushrooms
  • Pecans and walnut nut crumbs

Sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano are amazing spices you should definitely add-in.  

 

Do You Combine The Spices Before or After?

 

You want to combine fresh and dried spices in with the broth until it becomes tender and liquid-free for 8-10 minutes. Remember, the more patience you have, the stronger your herbal spices will pan out in your culinary creations. A good example of this concept is looking at how Italians thoughtfully take the time to slow simmer cook pasta sauce for 6 - 12 hours.

 

How do you cut vegetables?

 

Chopping vegetables means simply cutting them into small and even, pieces. You can also chop vegetables quickly by using tools such as food choppers and vegetable choppers. However, if you want a product that will last you a lifetime, this calls for an investment, therefore, we recommend Vitamix's food processor.

  • A paring knife or chef knife
  • Instant pot
  • Medium flat pan
  • Food processor, or mortar and pestle

ingredients:

  • 1 cup water or vegetable broth or homemade Instant Pot stock
  • 1 medium head of purple cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 cup of carrot, chopped
  • 1 box of crimini mushrooms
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp coarse Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tsp Peppercorn Blend to grind, or coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 tsp of sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano (add fresh herbs for extra holiday spice)
  • 1 cup of nut crumbs (pecans & walnuts pulsed in blender)

instructions:

How to Make Purple Cauliflower Stuffing

  1. Add some broth in with onion, carrot, celery and sauté in a medium flat pan on medium-heat until translucent for 7-9 minutes.
  2. Add cauliflower and mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes additional.
  3. Add fresh and dry spices in with remainder of broth until tender and liquid free for 8-10 minutes.
