ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt

instructions:

How to cook Vegan Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350° and lightly grease cupcake tin or line with 12 cupcake liners.
  2. Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the applesauce, vanilla, apple cider vinegar, and water. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner three-quarters of the way from full and bake for 30-45 minutes, or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven, and allow to cool before applying frosting and decorations!
