How to Combat A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Naturally


What Is A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)?

Urinary Tract Infections occur commonly among women, although men can contract these types of bladder infections. UTIs are incredibly painful, often following a burning sensation at the finish of urination. You will see cloudiness and bubbles in the urination, and it will feel like not much comes out during every urination attempt.[1]


These types of infections typically last for about five to seven days. As someone with a disability, I cannot afford to take chances because I had previously done so much damage to my body for the first 30 years. I had no concept of healthy foods, and I relied on prescription drug medications.


What Raw Juicing Does for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Remember, you are what you eat, so to avoid these types of infections happening in the first place, the cheapest alternative will be raw juicing using organic vegetables at a minimum twice a week. I juice twice a week, and it gives me four days' worth of juice.


The longer the juice sits in the refrigerator, the more nutrients you are losing due to oxidation. Also, I would recommend finding the most reliable juicing device because the two common complaints I hear among fellow juicers are that they are messy and break often.


We invested in a two thousand dollar juicer called the Super Angel, and in similar ways, it's like putting a down payment on a car. Trust me; your health is worth it. It slowly masticates the juice preserving the nutrients just as if you were manually juicing using your hands.


However, you can use a blender but know that you are essentially whipping out many nutrients using a blending device.

My favorite vegetable varieties to include in my juicing regiment is Roma tomatoes, one bundle of celery, kale stems (I keep the kale for stir fry dishes and soups), garlic (6-7 cloves), a whole hand of ginger, 5-7 radishes, one whole cucumber, cilantro, parsley, three carrots, lemon, lime, and most importantly, two beets.


Beets are among the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, so your bladder will be thanking you for choosing wise choices. Be creative, the taste might come out a bit different each time, but I am never dissatisfied. I love variety. 


Juicing is incredibly nutritious and satisfying because you extract the valuable nutrients that the body can intake without the motor going into overdrive trying to process so many solid foods. You are still getting fibrous nutrients without eating an entire bunch of celery in one sitting.


So drink juice and lots of water, preferably reverse osmosis, because regular tap water is contaminated. Anyway, enjoy these fluids and then let the juices flow from the urinary area. Also, follow these next steps.

Why Losing The Underwear is Good for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Go commando and lose the underwear at night during the UTI taking place. I recommend trying to do it during the day, too, and let those sacred underparts breathe for ideal healing. Be hygienic and use baby wipes to wipe front to back regularly; I use toilet paper to pat the area dry; also, I use two halves of a baby wipe daily to avoid overuse and high expenses.


Take a quick shower every night or morning to clean those private parts thoroughly using an organic wash for sensitive areas.


What Half Baths Do for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Take a few half baths daily to be more sustainable to soak for at least 15 minutes to relax the genitals through these stressful times. I use Epsom salt, and I find good bargains on Amazon. Also, adding a few drops of Geranium Essential Rose Oil for UTI infection may fight off bacterial infections. Plus, smelling like roses and feeling like you are in a heavenly garden of flowers is never a bad thing.

Why Wildcrafted Herbs Help Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Use wildcrafted herbal remedies such as potent Garlic capsules, Uva Ursi, D-Mannose, Oregano Oil, and don't forget the Cranberry capsules. Be careful of those store-bought juices with high fructose corn syrup and preservatives. You are better off buying Cranberry tablets with at least 500mg or raw juicing a bunch of cranberries yourself before purchasing anything bottled.

As part of my daily regimen not including these remedies during times of UTI, I also take Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B, five grams of Blueberry, and Milk Thistle daily as part of my healthy life hack remedy living with a craniofacial condition.

A Last Resort Using Antibiotics for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Adopting these types of lifestyle habits keep the doctor away, and I do without regular prescriptions. However, not to say that antibiotics don't serve a purpose because they do.


Having a craniofacial condition and after putting my body through so much damage for the first 30 years, I make extreme health sacrifices to avoid getting sick and racking up medical bills. However, the feeling of a UTI coming on, I am not always able to combat it with natural remedies alone.


I do use antibiotics when needed, I use them in moderation to get rid of the infection, and I usually have some leftover in the case of the next UTI. The last time I used any antibiotics was late 2019, and now it is mid-2021. That is a significant time gap and should be relatively safe, avoiding the potential of antibiotic resistance and contracting the autoimmune disorder.

So now, relax, and don't overdo the herbal supplements either. Use your body as an intuitive guide so you can be your healthiest and live longer.


What Else May Help Cleanse Your Urinary Tract?

  • Drinking plenty of fluids to flush out bacteria: Drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily can help flush out bacteria of your urinary tract and prevent bladder infections.
  • Avoiding smoking tobacco: Tobacco is a major risk factor for developing bladder cancer.
  • Increasing Vitamin C intake: This vitamin is thought to increase the acidity of urine, which kills off the bacteria that causes infection.
  • Taking probiotics: The use of probiotics have been linked to improved digestive health and enhanced immune function.



Choosing a healthy plant-based and vegan diet is most beneficial when it comes to:

  • Higher levels of energy;

  • Improved sleep;

  • Aids in energy and overall happiness;

  • Provides a sense of comfort and relief;

  • Could prevent major diseases such as obesity and diabetes;

  • Accomplish weight-loss and management; and

  • Improves mental and cognitive functioning.
