Hello everyone!

My name is Sahar Kazem and I started as a Public Health intern for Assuaged on September 2020. Within three months of my internship, I was promoted to intern manager.  As intern manager, I am responsible for managing and mentoring over 85 student interns. I currently update and edit the Dream Team, Authorship Pages, Past Contributors, and Landing Pages of the Assuaged website.

I have learned many skills as an intern, including SEO, writing proposals, website building, public health research, blogging, and marketing. During my time at Assuaged, I gained the opportunity to collaborate with Priceline entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman on his charity initiative, World Youth Horizons. This included helping to prepare powerpoint presentations and live discussions regarding this organization.

I have graduated from the University of California, Irvine in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Policy. I hope to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in the future. I would eventually love to open my own business.

My career interests and passions are diversified. When I am not working in the business and healthcare industries, I spend my time acting! I enjoy being an actress and I have a passion for the entertainment industry. I have participated in multiple plays during high school and university, but I aspire to act on television one day.
