Hello, my name is Yiran Li. I am a graduate student studying Human Resource Management at Purdue University. I studied psychology as my undergraduate major at Oregon State University. I seek to observe, interact, and apply my developing knowledge of psychology to real-world situations. The essence of Human Resources lies in understanding the person in front of you. An interest in and background in psychology are essential to observing a person’s behavioral attributes and conducting oneself accordingly.
I am here to complete an internship because I hope to learn and gain knowledge from the real-life situations I will study and engage in. Interacting with people who have different cultural backgrounds is fascinating. I wish to develop the skills and abilities I can use to build on them.
