I am currently a senior at Rutgers University studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration and pursuing my Master’s degree in Health Administration in the fall. I currently work with the legal team in a local hospital where I live. I start off by saying that I'm a student first because it is honestly what I am most proud of.
I am from a first generation home and I am the first to graduate from a 4 year school in the United States. It's something my grandmother always pushed me to be, a student and despite her no longer being with me I have never felt so close to her, as I do now, that I'm so close to graduating. I was born and raised in Queens and moved to NJ later in life.
I would definitely consider myself a city girl at heart but I've gotten accustomed to my suburban lifestyle. I have always worked multiple jobs throughout my college years so that I would be able to graduate without needing to take out personal loans or asking anybody else for money.
I grew up watching my parents work hard every day to be able to give my siblings and a comfortable lifestyle and I am forever grateful for that. I've managed somehow to put myself in an incredible position at my job and I am so very thankful for that.
I love to travel to new places, especially new countries. Embracing the cultures, trying the food and taking in the history is such an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone I meet. My free time is spent hanging out with my family, trying to squeeze in some reading time or helping my sister study for her nursing degree. I can't really say I have much alone time but I probably wouldn’t have it any other way.
