Hello! My name is Arturo Vargas. I earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. I worked for several years as a Cost Engineer at Mattel Toys Inc., all while preparing my application for medical school. Eventually, I was accepted to Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where I completed my family practice residency at White Memorial Medical Center. After practicing for several years, I expanded my expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Informatics at the University of San Diego. I am further enhancing my education by working toward a Certificate in Public Health Informatics & Technology at Bakersfield College.
Thank you for joining me on this creative journey. I’m excited to continue learning and look forward to working with the Assuaged Foundation staff and fellow student interns.
