Hello Everyone, I’m Amanda!
I’m a South Jersey native but currently live in Virginia, where I serve the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. I’m also a Public Health student, working on my master's degree at Purdue University Global. After 13 years in the Navy, I will be transitioning out and working with the American Cancer Society as a Cancer Control Strategic Partnerships Manager. I want to make a positive change and improve the overall wellness of my community members.
Along with being a service member, Assuaged intern, and student, I’m a wife and mother. My husband Yousuf also works in the U.S. Navy as a dog handler. We have a son, Jayden (11), a daughter, Magnolia (1), and our fur-babies Axel, Vandal, and Bailey. We spend a lot of time at baseball games, camping, hosting get-togethers, and enjoying our lake-front property.
I'm so excited and thankful to be part of the Assuaged team!
