Health Benefits of Eating Mango

Mangoes are delicious sweet and juicy tropical fruits. They are packed with nutrients and have an extensive list of health benefits. One of the many benefits of eating mangoes are their ability to boost our immune system.  A cup (165 grams) of mangoes provides 10% of your daily vitamin A needs, and nearly 75% of your daily vitamin C needs. The vitamin C in mangoes helps boost the immune system, which is essential for fighting off infections and illnesses.

Additionally, mangoes have anti-inflammatory properties. Several studies showed that phytochemicals contained in mango play an anti-inflammatory role in several chronic pathological disorders associated with inflammatory responses. Mangoes are also a great source of antioxidants. Antioxidants help protect the body against oxidative stress and may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and certain types of cancer.

Mango Salsa

Mangoes can be enjoyed in many different ways. This delicious mango salsa is perfect for this summer heat, as it's sweet and refreshing. You can eat it with your favorite tortilla chips, as a side dish or even by itself!
