Hello, I’m Zakaria Brahmi, a junior at Brooklyn Technical High School. My passion lies in technology and coding, where I’m always eager to explore new challenges and find creative solutions to problems. I’m particularly drawn to how tech can transform everyday life and make a lasting impact on communities. Outside of my academic interests, I’m also a soccer player for a club team, where I’ve learned valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Playing soccer has taught me to stay focused under pressure and work effectively with others to achieve common goals, skills I carry into my tech projects. When I’m not coding or playing soccer, I enjoy interacting with family and friends, which has helped me build my communication skills further.
I’m currently interning at the Assuaged Foundation Inc., where I’m excited to gain hands-on experience and learn how technology can be applied to real-world challenges. I’m particularly interested in using tech to improve public health initiatives and create accessible resources that can empower communities. This internship is a great opportunity for me to develop my skills while contributing to projects that can benefit society.
