Dear KTM Family,

Once Upon A Runway: KTM Honors Models with Diversity and Disability

NEW YORK CITY, New York – Celebrity entrepreneurs Alexander Harris, and RaQuel of Kiss the Monkeys | Kiss the Mermaids (KTM) and Prashant Goyal of Heritage India Fashions celebrates beauty in diversity by featuring models with disabilities.

The Once Upon A Runway {A TOY STORY} will include models with deafness, blindness, craniofacial birth defects, and down syndrome disabilities. These individuals are challenging the fashion industry’s standard of beauty by not shying away from their natural beauty.

On January 16th, 2020 at 6:00 pm for VIP and 7:00 pm for general admission, New York's most famous toy store featured in the movies Big and Home Alone 2, FAO Schwarz, is shutting its doors early for a red carpet private shopping experience, including a fashion runway presentation and music performances.

From left to right: Abigail Adams is an actress, model, and advocate with Down syndrome. Weston Wright is a child male model who is blind. Alexis German Beutel is a NYC deaf male model. Cynthia Murphy is a health activist and entrepreneur with Treacher Collins.

This year, the fashion and beauty industries will move toward even greater change as this event is in conjunction with diverse individuals and industries, which ties in with the reason for the comeback of FAO Schwarz. While brick and mortar retail shops like FAO are frequently closing, this trend is what brings customers into the stores.

The venue is located FAO Schwarz at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10111, and will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Center, a renowned medical facility that treats the toughest childhood cancers and pediatric diseases.

Please view entire e-mail below our KTM models for more information about our after-party.

Highness Prince Mario-Max De Schaumburg Lippe and Jennifer Murphy will be hosting this fashion show extravaganza. Famous and renowned actor and philanthropist Anupam Kher, Getty Images, The Daily, New York Times, and United Nations diplomats will be present.

This event will be attended by members of KTM’s philanthropic group of celebrities, entrepreneurs, industry elite, socialites, entertainers, and high-profile influencers. KTM’s “EXPERIENTIAL EVENT” will feature a fashion runway show highlighting four models with disabilities.

There will be various celebrity models displaying modern fashion, including varieties of vegan fashion. The Headline Designer and co-producer of the Once Upon a Runway event will be Prashant Goyal of Heritage India Fashions.

Other featured designers include Pamela Quinzi (Cinderella Of New York) for Kilame, Vila Beauty Resources, Teresa Costa Collections, and Elie Balleh. Added event partners include Assuaged, Do-A-Dollar, and Chef Ray's Taste of the Islands, our catering company that treats all clients like celebrities.

A Bollywood presence will be present because of Heritage India Fashion and Meera Gandhi, who will be the recipient of “The Evolutionist Award” for her philanthropic efforts. The event will be live-streamed by B4U TVand ET I Times Now.
