I'm Sarita Tamang, a passionate advocate for public health based in NYC.
Growing up in Nepal, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by underserved communities in accessing quality healthcare. These experiences fueled my determination to contribute to the field of public health and make a difference in the lives of others. My dedication to community health became more evident while working in the front field during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently pursuing my Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Monroe College, King Graduate School, I am driven by a strong desire to address health disparities and improve community well-being. I am committed to making a meaningful impact on public health initiatives. Looking ahead, I am excited about leveraging my skills and knowledge to develop as a competent public health professional dedicated to promoting health equity and improving population health outcomes.
