  • 5 jalapeños
  • 2 tbsp vegan cheese
  • 2 tbsp vegan cream cheese
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Almond milk
  • Grapeseed oil

How to Make Vegan Jalapeño Poppers

  1. Start by cutting open the jalapeño and then scooping out all of the insides. Repeat to all of the jalapeños.
  2. In a large bowl; scoop out half the vegan cream cheese and a large handful of your vegan cheese. Mix it together.
  3. Place the mixture in each of the jalapeños.
  4. After stuffing all the jalapenos, fill a little bowl with almond milk. Proceed to roll the jalapeno poppers in the milk and then in the breadcrumbs (optional: roll them in flour before the breadcrumbs to help the breadcrumbs stick better).
  5. Fill a pot with grapeseed oil, and gently place each jalapeño popper in there. Cook them until they are golden brown.
  6. Once they are browned, remove the jalapeño poppers from the pot and place them on top of a plate that's covered with a paper towel.
  7. Let cool and enjoy!

Comedian Preacher Lawson

Preacher Lawson is a stand-up comedian, actor, singer, human, professional black guy. I was born in Portland, Oregon, but raised most of my adolescence in Memphis, TN. I moved 20 times before age 10, but if you asked me what city I'm from I'd say Orlando, FL. Because that's where I grew as a comedian.

Growing up switching schools all of the time you had to learn how to adapt. Everywhere I'd go I would learn about different people and different cultures, but I noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter. Which is how I spoke and warmed up to most people. Even when I wasn't the funniest I was still the loudest.

I started writing jokes when I was 16 for about a year, then decided to perform for the first time at age 17 as between my mother and I. Best decision of my life.

Are you addicted to salt and sugar?

Many of us don't even realize that we are addicted to two harmful substances that can easily be substituted. If you love sugar, try using maple syrup. If you love salt, try using Pink Himalayan Salt. Can you believe these two simple replacement ingredients have health benefits?
