  • 2 cans black beans
  • 1/2 cup red quinoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup gluten flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 8 oz mushroom
  • 3 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder


How To Make The Most AMAZING Vegan Burger of ALL TIME!!!

  1. Bring water and red quinoa to a boil, then lower to simmer and cover for about 20 minutes until water is absorbed.
  2. Roughly chop onions and then place them in a food processor. Add the walnuts and mushrooms to the processor as well and blend it all together.
  3. Add the grapeseed oil to a pan that is on medium-high. Scrape out the mixture from the food processor into the pan. Stir occasionally.
  4. Strain both cans of black beans in a strainer. Rinse the beans. Proceed to mash them.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, the mixture from the pan, black beans, soy sauce, mustard seeds, chili powder, onion powder, and dijon mustard. Mix together.
  6. Add the gluten flour to the large bowl and mix it in.
  7. Heat up a pan and add some grapeseed oil. Take your burger mixture and press it into patties. Cook on each side for about 5 minutes (until browned). Optional: add vegan cheese on top.
  8. Now that your burgers are made, feel free to add any additional condiments or garnishes that you like.
