  • Eat healthier whole foods varieties such as fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, and beans.
  • Limit sugars, processed foods, and sodium.
  • Avoid fast foods including greasy and fried food
  • Don’t smoke cigarettes, it worsens T1D.
  • Move more by physically walking at least 25 minutes daily and manage your weight by being consistent.
