Public Health Intern Hello! I'm Cindy, a 4th-year student majoring in Public Health with a focus on Health Education and Promotion at California State University, Fullerton. Currently residing in the city of Los Angeles, as I eagerly await my graduation in the upcoming spring of 2024, I find myself reflecting on the journey that led me to this point. My fascination with public health, particularly health education and promotion, blossomed during intervention classes that challenged me to create awareness and implement promotional interventions for health issues within the community. It was in those moments that I realized the profound importance of advocating for the health and well-being of the community at large. I've come to appreciate the significance of staying informed about health issues globally and within society. For me, researching data and staying updated on health topics are crucial aspects of staying connected with the ever-changing world and its health landscape. Beyond my academic pursuits, I've discovered joy in sharing valuable information about health issues with those around me. Whether it's raising awareness about current health concerns or simply engaging in conversations about well-being, I find fulfillment in contributing to the health literacy of those in my community. Away from the books and lectures, I indulge in my love for cooking, creating nutritious meals that contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
